At this important meeting, we will all assess The North Fork School for our upcoming accreditation review to determine how “embedded” our programs, culture, and practices are, as well as how students show growth and engagement. As more than half of our student body is new to North Fork this year, the new perspectives and viewpoints we gather at this meeting will help us present an honest picture of where our school stands now. This will allow committee members from Cognia (who will hold a virtual accreditation review with us in February, 2025) to help North Fork move forward with an improvement plan for the next six years. How has The North Fork School impacted your view of learning so far? Where do you see us going together in the next few years? There is preparation you can do for this meeting (not required, but helpful, if you like to know in advance what is going to happen). We will separate into four groups to review and rate the school on the attached rubric.
